Picking the right size for a custom photo board comes down to three things: how many guests will gather around it, how much space your venue gives you, and how many photos you want to feature. Here is how to get it right the first time.

Match the size to your venue
Walk your space first. A board needs to be seen from across the room without crowding the walkway. For a reception centerpiece, the 6ft board is the safe default: it reads clearly from a distance yet still ships and stores easily thanks to our Invisible Fold Technology. For a grand entry or ballroom, size up to 7 or 8ft.

A 6ft board comfortably holds a 15 to 30 photo collage, or one large hero image with your names and date. If you have a big "through the years" story to tell, size up. If you want one stunning image, a smaller board keeps it bold.
Do you need a stand?
Boards from 4 to 8ft are not freestanding on their own. Most customers add a matching Jumbo Easel Back Stand, which self-adheres to the back and is sized to your board's height so it stands upright through the whole event. Our Accordion and Storybook styles are self-standing and do not need one.
